Shadows to Cover Shadows
Raise your hand if you have dark circles worthy of space exploration.
No? Just me? I don't believe you.
Now, raise your hand if you like to get a bang for your buck when it comes to cosmetics.
That's better! I see some more hands raised on that one. ;-)
Well, if you're like me and BOTH statements apply, then you must be introduced to SeneGence's ShadowSense. It is unlike any other eyeshadow I have ever owned or used, and while it takes a bit of getting used to because it is a cream to powder product, it is well worth the learning curve. Trust me!

So what is so great about these shadows as opposed to those palettes you can find elsewhere? For one, they blend like nothing I've ever used before. Every time I start my eye makeup I think to my non-makeup artist self, "Oh geez. What are you doing?" But then, when I take out my handy blending brush, all of the colors smooth out and blend so easily for a flawless finish. Okay, maybe not completely flawless for some, but for me, it's the best I could ever hope for!
I also love the versatility of many of the shades. I use Candlelight as both an eye primer AND concealer/highlighter (Sandstone Pearl works for those of you with cooler skin tones!)! My Moca Java matte is not only my go to everyday color, but it is also my contour color when I try to be all fancy! I even use my Mulberry or Pink Frost as a matte blush in addition to using them on my eyes for a mauve or soft pink look.
And just in case you didn't think that was enough versatility, you can also use ShadowSense as your lipstick color!! Yeah. I know. Amazing, right? All you have to do is layer between layers of LipSense (either neutral colors or the elusive clear Icicle) to increase staying power. While it doesn't last quite as long as LipSense (nothing does, am I right?), it's a fun alternative and a way to wear some really vibrant colors!
If you're interested in trying out some ShadowSense, head on over to Ella's Beauty Shop or email me to see what I have in my personal stock!
XOXO,
Ella
